Families on integration allowance

An analysis of economical aspects, deprivation and social exclusion in a human rights perspective.

In 2015, the integration allowance was introduced as the lowest economic benefit in Denmark. The allowance is given to the unemployed who have stayed in Denmark for less than seven out of the last eight years. The Institute for Human Rights has examined the living conditions of families with childrenin integration allowance.
