Masters education in democratic governance, supported by the Danish Institute for Human Rights, now calls for applications.

The Danish Institute for Human Rights together with the Danish-Arab Partnership Programme (DAPP) support the Master in Democratic Governance at The European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation in Venice. The university now organises the third edition of the Master in Democratic Governance - Democracy and Human Rights in the MENA region. First round of deadline is the 30th of May 2016 for the academic year 2016/2017.

The education is coordinated by the International University of Rabat (Morocco), Birzeit University (Palestine), Saint Joseph University (Lebanon), Ca’ Foscari University (Italy), University of Carthage (Tunisia) and a growing network of partner Universities.

The Master in Democratic Governance is an intensive advanced course in the field of democracy and human rights combined with an action and policy-oriented approach.

The education targets candidates (students and professionals) with a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds, experiences and motivations.

It is our hope that the education will supply the field with even more experts to work for human rights in the MENA region.
