Thomas Gammeltoft-Hansen new Executive Chairman of AHRI

Head of Research at the Danish Institute for Human Rights, Thomas Gammeltoft-Hansen, has been elected as Executive Chairman of the Association for Human Rights Institutes (AHRI).

AHRI consists of 48 institutions all carrying out research and education in the field of human rights. The association was established in 2000 and today encompasses a range of pre-eminent university and research institutions.

Thomas Gammeltoft-Hansen took over the chairmanship from the Director of the Danish Institute for Human Rights, Jonas Christoffersen, with the ambition of strengthening the Institute’s international research profile.
