DIHR is seeking IT-partner

The Danish Institute for Human Rights is seeking an IT partner to facilitate the development and launch of the Human Rights and Business Country Portal.

Project Description

The Country Portal aims to be the definitive website for business, governments and civil society groups to understand and address the human rights impacts of the private sector. The Portal website will present a range of information for these target audiences, including statistical indicators, legal analyses, case studies, best-practice recommendations and information on local initiatives and partners.

DIHR has received funding to launch the Country Portal in late 2013, and seeks a partner to develop a website structure that will present Country Portal information to a diverse range of users in a simple, structured, user-friendly way.

Tender Criteria

The Danish Institute for Human Rights seeks an IT partner that can facilitate all elements of the development and launch of the Country Portal.

Please submit samples of your work and a one-page cover letter. These materials should demonstrate your experience in:

  • Designing, structuring and launching website projects
  • Creative solutions to information management challenges
  • Structuring detailed, complicated information in a simple, user-friendly way
  • Data visualisation
  • Engagement with the NGO sector

Budget

35,000 EUR

Timeline

  • Soft launch: November 1, 2013
  • Public launch: Dec 1, 2013

Deadline

The deadline for the tender is 15 July. The winning IT Partner will be announced July 19.
